Went to a wedding this past weekend in Charleston, SC - now they know how to throw a wedding and celebrate all weekend long. Great city! It was fun but nice to be back in the studio. I have quite a line-up of galleries and shows this 2014 Season. If you're on my mailing list, then you got your card. Kicking off in June, my new sculpture will travel from Healdsburg to Carmel and onto Santa Fe. Today we met for breakfast in Healdsburg at Fireside Restaurant. It has only been there about a year in the Vineyard Shopping Center. Our waitress was excellent and let us sit there for 3 hours as we planned out my year ahead in and out of the studio. My wife, Melinda and my Marketing Director, Lori and I reviewed last year's success and are very excited about the 2014 schedule. Stay tuned...New Year, New Plans, New Work.

Hi folks! I'm giving a tour to 7 sculpture students this afternoon from Pacific Union College, Napa Valley. Always fun to show off my tools and my work. It's great to hear their questions and give them the studio tour. Melinda made a new DVD Loop that I have running in the gallery. It shows how I carve my Mobius designs. My stone is from all over the world. You can really get the sense of that this Passport Weekend. My downtown gallery, Just For You, 115 Plaza St., Healdsburg, will be hosting a reception for me from 4-6pm this Saturday, April 27. Stop by and you can travel 7 countries with my sculptures getting your passport stamped as you go. Hope to see you!

Only 5 days 'til the Event!

Hey Folks - It's "Marvelous Monday" here in the studio. Last week to finish things up before the big show this weekend. Let's do something FUN...Want to meet me in the Plaza tomorrow night? I'm going to finish up in the studio and head down to "Tuesdays in the Plaza" to hear the country tunes of Patsy & The Bobcats. Join Me at 6pm on Tuesday, August 14 at the Healdsburg Plaza. T Barny Trefoil Mobius carved from Utah Calcite

Ok, so it's time for a few Mobius antedotes. Here you go....Why did the chicken cross the Mobius Strip? To get to the other...um...er...wait...that's not it...uh...the same side?  Or - think about this - An ant and his friends decided to make their trail by going 'round and 'round and 'round. Finally they decided this is quite a path. All we've found is that the other side just isn't there. And, did you know that Augustus Ferdinand Mobius inspired many to have the same name? There's Mobius Wines from Healdsburg, CA which we will be serving here on 8-18-2012. MOBIUS is also the name of a Poetry Magazine and an Acrobatic Stunt called The Mobius Flip. Just things to think about this weekend. Enjoy!

Hey Sculpture Fans - Have you seen my show?  I have 27 pieces "On The Plaza" at the newest gallery in downtown Healdsburg called JUST FOR YOU GALLERY OF FINE ART.  The reception was this past Friday night with a great, fun and classy turn out of collectors, admirers and friends.  You can catch this show up until April 10.  The media was there including Cherie Kelsey and Ray Holley from the Tribune.  Watch for my article in the PROGRESS Magazine which will be released next Thursday, March 31st.  PROGRESS is an annual review of business success stories and industry updates.  It is printed as a supplement to the Healdsburg, Windsor and Sebastopol Newspapers.  Watch for my article as it highlights my 30 Years of Sculpture.  Cheers!
